A Little About My Approach

Rooted in compassion. Guided by presence.

My name is Sok Hwee, and I am a music therapist, Komyo ReikiDo teacher, energy healing practitioner, and sound meditation guide.

My path has brought together different ways of understanding and supporting well-being — from formal training in music therapy to the contemplative practice of Reiki, sound meditation, breathwork and Qigong

I hold a Master's degree in Music Therapy and trained in Komyo ReikiDo in Kyoto, Japan, with Inamoto Hyakuten. My professional experience in hospice care and inpatient psychiatric settings has shaped my understanding of the importance of compassionate presence, particularly during times of vulnerability, grief, and transition.

Across these different practices, one thread remains constant: the value of creating space for people to be met with care, dignity, and openness.

I believe we do not always need to strive for change. Sometimes, we need the space to pause, listen, and allow a different relationship with ourselves and our experiences to unfold.
